Heritage Auctions Offers Classic Horror Films Graded by CGC Home Video
Dozens of classic horror home video collectibles certified by CGC Home Video™, including a sealed and pedigreed VHS example of A Nightmare on Elm Street, are being offered in an upcoming Heritage Auctions sale. Online bidding is already underway for the Horror Home Video Showcase Auction, which is set to end on October 30, 2023.
With bidding already at $1,800 and over a week left in the sale, the sealed A Nightmare on Elm Street VHS, Media Home Entertainment (1985) graded CGC 9.4 A++ (lot 19004) is leading the sale. The sealed VHS is pedigreed to the Motor City Collection — an esteemed cache of sealed videocassettes from Detroit, Michigan, all certified by CGC Home Video. A Nightmare on Elm Street is a celebrated 1984 horror film about a group of teenagers who are targeted by Freddy Krueger, an undead killer who seeks revenge against the groups’ parents, who burned him alive.
