CGC and JSA Return to NYCC as the Show’s Official Grading and Authentication Services

CGC® and JSA® are honored to be returning to the biggest pop culture celebration on the East Coast as the Official Grading and Authentication Services of New York Comic Con, happening at the Javitz Center in NYC on October 8-11, 2026. Bring your comics, TCGs, sports cards, video games, home video collectibles, and autographed memorabilia to submit at the show at booths #2805 and #HB906!

• From Raw to Slab: The CGC Grading Experience. Join CGC Comics President Matt Nelson and Vice President Shawn Caffrey for an in-depth panel on comic book grading and preservation. The panel will offer a behind-the-scenes look at how comics get graded at CGC. Plus, watch live grading demos, learn how to spot pressable defects and restoration, and get expert insight into what really affects a comic's grade. You'll also get the chance to guess the grade for prizes, test your knowledge with comic book trivia, and ask questions during an open Q&A. Whether you're a seasoned collector or just love comics, this panel is packed with helpful tips and insider knowledge you won't want to miss! JSA on-site services for autographed memorabilia

Submit autographed memorabilia for Basic Certification (COA), and items are processed and finalized the same day. Collectors can also submit items for the JSA Letter of Authenticity (LOA). These are observed the same day, with final documented results sent later by mail. Go to SpenceLOA.com/fees for submission pricing.

Preparing submissions for the show

CGC will be accepting submissions of comics, magazines, TCGs, sports cards, non-sports cards, video games, and home video collectibles for authentication and grading.

Why wait in line with your submission? Submit your prepared collectibles through the Express Drop-off Service and quickly hand off your collectibles to a representative. Simply take the following steps before arriving:

1. Create a CGC account here. All it takes is a free account to submit, and paid members get additional discounts and benefits.
2. Go to the online submission form for comics, cards, video games or home video. (For JSA memorabilia submissions, just bring your item to the show.)
3. Select “Mail-In or Show Drop-Off” to start your submission. Please note that you’ll have the option to choose JSA autograph authentication for comics and cards after choosing your primary grading services.
4. Complete the submission form and print the packing slips.
   
   Important: To ensure that your submission process stays on schedule, please place your collectibles in the order listed on the packing slip. Please bring BOTH copies of the packing slip with your collectibles to the show drop-off. Failure to do so will result in delays.

1. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you drop off your submission (including the packing slip) with a representative.
2. Go to the Express Drop-off sign to finalize your submission.

All submissions will be transported to CGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation.
