CGC x JSA Accepting Submissions at Fanatics Fest NYC!

CGC® and JSA® are excited to announce that we'll be accepting submissions at the second annual Fanatics Fest NYC, being held at the Javits Center in New York City on June 20-22, 2024. Bring your sports cards, TCGs, non-sports cards, comics, magazines, video games, home video collectibles and memorabilia to submit for authentication and grading, and then hang out at our booth for a while to take part in all the fun!

In addition to CGC accepting all regular submissions for grading and encapsulation, JSA will serve as Fanatics Fest NYC's Official Autograph Authenticator. Get your show-signed collectibles certified by JSA on the spot — just select JSA autograph authentication at checkout — or bring already-autographed collectibles for authentication. You can also grab a CGC Signature Series witness for cards and comics you're getting signed at the show, and then submit for grading and encapsulation with the iconic CGC Signature Series yellow label.

We also have several can't-miss events planned throughout the weekend at the CGC Cards booth, including a custom trading card booth, special CGC pin giveaway, prizes and swag — and so much more! Here’s the breakdown:

• Drop-offs for regular submissions – CGC is accepting regular submissions of cards, comics, video games and home video collectibles, which will be taken back to its Sarasota, Florida, headquarters for certification at CGC’s regular grading fees, the most affordable in the industry (plus submitters save one way on shipping). • CGC Signature Series Witnesses – Fanatics Fest NYC attendees can get cards and comics signed in the presence of a CGC representative to ensure they can be encapsulated with the iconic CGC Signature Series yellow label.


• Custom trading card booth – Get a custom trading card featuring your photo and then “slab yourself” by submitting it for encapsulation. The card is the perfect keepsake to commemorate the Fanatics Fest NYC 2025!


• CGC Pin Giveaway – Exclusive CGC grade box pins will be available while supplies last, so make sure to stop by the CGC booth to grab one before they're gone and check out the other prizes and free swag that will be given away all weekend long!

Drop off regular submissions at the show

CGC is accepting submissions of sports cards, TCGs, non-sports cards, comics, magazines, video games and home video for grading. Autographed cards and comics may be submitted for CGC x JSA Authentic Autograph certification, and autographed memorabilia may be submitted for JSA-only services. CGC’s super-affordable regular fees apply to drop-off submissions, plus you’ll save one way on shipping!

All regular submissions will be transported to CGC headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation. The cutoff for regular submissions is 5 p.m. on Sunday, June 22. To learn more about CGC Cards services and fees, go here.

How to submit

To streamline submissions at the show, please take the following steps before arriving:

1. Create a CGC account here. All it takes is a free account to submit, and paid members get additional discounts and benefits.
2. Go to the online submission form for cards, comics, video games or home video (For JSA memorabilia submissions, simply bring your item to the show.).
3. Select “Mail-In or Show Drop-Off” to start your submission.
4. Complete the online submission form for the collectible type you are submitting and print the packing slips. Make sure your account number, shipping address, return shipping method and requested services are included on the paperwork.

Important: To ensure that your submission process stays on schedule, please place your collectibles in the order listed on the packing slip. Please bring BOTH copies of the packing slip with your collectibles to the show drop-off. Failure to do so will result in delays.

5. Keep your collectibles safe and secure until you drop off your submission (including the packing slip) with a representative.
6. Go to the Express Drop-off sign to finalize your submission.

All submissions will be transported to CGC’s headquarters in Sarasota, Florida, for authentication, grading and encapsulation.
